Delete your DNSLab account
Last updated: 1 November 2026
You can ask us to delete your DNSLab account at any time. Your monitors, status pages and alert contacts are deleted with it. The tools never need an account, so if you never signed up there is nothing to delete.
How to ask
- 1Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my DNSLab account”.
- 2We check that the request comes from the account's email address. If it doesn't, we ask you to confirm from that address, so that no one else can delete your account.
- 3We delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your account: your name, email address, phone number, password hash and two-factor key.
- Your sign-in sessions and email verification records.
- Your monitors with their check results, summaries and incidents, and your alert contacts and maintenance windows.
- Your status pages with their subscribers, access lists and viewer sessions.
What we keep
- Access logs, as Law No. 5651 requires: two years from each request, then deleted automatically.
- Lookup records: no longer linked to your account, and deleted two years after each lookup, like everyone's.
- Messages you sent us through the contact form: deleted two years after they were sent.
Before you ask
Status pages you publish go offline and their subscribers stop receiving updates. Copy anything you want to keep, such as your monitor settings, first: deleted data can't be restored.
